How are the sites ranked?
Every site is opened by hand on desktop and mobile and scored on real video quality, safety and privacy, ad load and mobile parity. A site that pays well but tests badly still ranks badly — there is no paid placement.
Can a site pay to be listed or rank higher?
No. Listing is free and there's no way to buy a better position. Operators can submit a site for review, but it goes through the same checks as everything else and can be rejected for the same reasons.
What won't you list?
Anything whose own navigation offers material involving minors, and any tool built to generate nude or deepfake images of real people. Both are excluded by name, whatever the medium.
How often is the list updated?
Continuously. Sites that go offline, change hands or move their catalogue behind a paywall get re-ranked or pulled, and new sites are added as we test them. The year in our titles reflects the current review cycle.
